My father, my best coach!
May 26, 1996, this man became a real dad when her wife gave birth to a healthy baby. He became more stiff and serious when I came. They said having two little princesses is a hard job, but this man proves that in every second he must enjoy it with his princesses. This brave man is given a name, Miguel T. Ferro Jr.
The first thing my dad teaches me is to say the words he wants to hear, Nanay or
TATAY. Every dad wants to hear his son/daughter to say those words, because for him it makes him a REAL DAD. My dad believes that if a child knows to talk he/she must learn to thank God and ask sorry to the bad things done. He then teaches me to walk and do the basic things a little princess must do. The right hand (mom) of my dad teaches me to read and write since he became a little bit busy with his work. I remember one thing he always does every time he’s done with his work, he always bring “pasalubong” which I want so much. He always buys fruits or shall I say banana if he’s in a morning shift and when its afternoon or evening he brings a burger, my all-time favorite!
When he’s not busy and my sister and I have no classes he always teaches me to play chess or damath. Since I’m not good in Mathematics he only
teaches ngs a burger, my all-
teaches me Dama, which the first game I learned from him. My dad didn't teach me to play chess, he only say the basic things I must know in playing this game. My dad likes a game which uses the brain to enhance the way the person thinks. The only sports that he teaches me are cycling and badminton. In cycling, he teaches me to balance and basic things. He even told me that when you met a car along the way you must let the car to go first because he has a big engine than yours. He gives me lot of advice about cycling. In playing badminton, he only says the basic things. My sister is the one who teaches me badminton but my dad give advices on how to become a good badminton player. He also teaches my sister and me how to play volleyball, since I find it boring I didn't listen to what he says.
My dad is not only a sporty dad but also a smart person. He's the person that I idolize so much when it comes to Mathematics. He's my personal tutor when I need someone to teach me things I don't know. My mom always says that my dad and I have the same weakness which is the English subject. Back then, my dad got a 70 in English but have a high grade in Mathematics. I idolize him when it comes to Mathematics.
My dad is the best coach next to mom. He doesn’t only teach sports and lessons in school but also how to be a good person. The best thing I learned from dad is that when my sister and I have a problem it should be solve right away, we should not sleep until we didn't forgive each other. His best dad ever!
